Let us acquaint you with our story, values, and inspiration.
The Society for Education Conscientisation Awareness and Training (ECAT) was established in the year 1988 with the aim of empowering deprived segments of the community, like women, children, the elderly, the destitute, and the handicapped.
We are a non-governmental, non-political, social service organisation. We are registered under the Society Registration Act 1958 from February 18th, 1988. Additionally, we also hold the registration under the Foreign Contribution Act 1976 on October 14th, 1991.
Our mission at ECAT is simple yet profound – to empower the marginalised, uplift the disadvantaged, and advocate for those who need it the most. Our story is all about resilience, compassion, and unwavering commitment to making a difference.
It all began with our founder, Satyen Chaturvedi, his relentlessness in helping those in need, and his zeal to strive for a positive change in society. Mr. Chaturvedi’s resolution with ECAT was to create a community where every human is equipped with the tools to overcome obstacles and lead fulfilling lives.
